Coordination compounds, like iron(II) triazole complexes, exhibit spin crossover (SCO) behavior at around room temperature. Therefore, they are interesting for a variety of possible applications, and it is convenient to integrate them into polymers.

Electrospinning with consequent thermal treatment consists in a carbon fiber production method that spins a polymer solution to create fibers with diameters around a few hundred nanometers. The thermal treatments are used for the cyclization and then

A key part of Mossbauer (MB) spectroscopy is the selection of the resonant energy range out of a detected γ -ray spectrum. As the detection of the entire γ -ray source spectrum generates high count rates, selection of the photons having the MB tran

In this study, Polylactic acid and Hydroxypropyl cellulose (PLA-HPC) fibers were fabricated by electrospinning. Methylene blue (MEB), as a model hydrophilic drug was embedded into PLA-HPC fibrous membranes. SEM results depicted that fibers are smooth

Poly(lactic acid) (PLA) is blended with Poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) and magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs). A series of mixtures are converted to fibers via electrospinning at room temperature. The fiber diameter of PLA decreases on blending with PEG from
