We demonstrate a high power, modular, bichromatic, ultraviolet laser system based on the Master Oscillator / Power Amplifier (MOPA) configuration for quantum computing with 171Yb+ ions. Low phase noise allows for high fidelity qubit operations.

We investigate polarization-dependent ultrafast photocurrents in the Weyl semimetal TaAs using terahertz (THz) emission spectroscopy. Our results reveal that highly directional, transient photocurrents are generated along the non-centrosymmetric c-ax

We explore the feasibility of exciting localized spin-wave modes in ferromagnetic nanostructures using surface acoustic waves. The time-resolved Faraday effect is used to probe the magnetization dynamics of an array of nickel nanowires. The optical-p
