Neutron capture and transmission measurements have been made from 0.5 eV to 500 keV and have been analyzed to give parameters of resonances up to [similar to]100 keV. The average resonance spacing for [ital s]-wave resonances was determined to be 670

High-resolution neutron cross section measurements for $^{58}\mathrm{enriched}$ targets were made at the Oak Ridge Electron Linear Accelerator of transmission below 20 MeV, of differential elastic scattering from 10 keV to 5 MeV, and of capture from

The purpose of this work is the precise determination of the /sup 238/U neutron capture yield (i.e., the probability of neutron absorption) as a function of neutron energy with the highest available neutron energy resolution. The motivation for this

A model for gamma-ray cascade de-excitation of a nucleus derived from the Maxwellian energy distribution function while imposing energy conservation was investigated. Energy distributions and multiplicities and their averages were found over a range

Neutron resonance parameters were found for /sup 152/Gd up to 2700 eV. An average s-wave spacing D/sub o/ = (17.4 +- 1.0) eV and radiation width (58.6 +- 3.0) meV were found. The resonance contribution to the capture integral was found as (397 +- 32)

The neutron capture cross section of 54 Fe has been measured with 0.2% energy resolution from 2.5 to 500 keV. A large and significant correlation is observed between the s-wave reduced neutron widths and the corresponding total radiative widths. The

The neutron capture cross section of stable $sup 93$Nb was measured by time-of-flight methodology at the Oak Ridge Linear Electron Accelerator. Individual resonances were parameterized to 7.4 keV with energy resolution less than or equal to 0.14 perc

Time-of-flight measurements of the neutron capture cross section of /sup 59/Co were carried out in the energy region 2.5 to 1000 keV using the Oak Ridge Electron Linear Accelerator and a pair of nonhydrogenous liquid-scintillator gamma-ray detectors.
