The crystal structure of the clathrate hydrate, 3.5Xe.8CCla.136D20, at 13 and 100K has been determined from single-crystal neutron diffraction data. The crystals are cubic, space group Fd3m, with ao = 17.192 (1)/~ at 13 K and 17.240 (2)/1 at 100 K. T

Single-crystal neutron diffraction data have been used to examine the distribution of mobile Ag+ ions in anion-ordered β-Ag3SI (space group Pm3m) and anion-disordered α-Ag3SI (space group Im3m) at 8 temperatures in the overall range 23° to 475°C.
