The magnetic hyperfine fields at Br and Kr nuclei in nickel have been measured by heavy ion implantation techniques. Extrapolating to 0 K, H = −0.7(1) T is obtained for Kr and H = +8.0(1) T for Br, in qualitative agreement with theoretical values.
