A change of status is proposed for Epacris microphylla var. rhombifolia (R.Br.) L.R.Fraser & Vickery, to Epacris rhombifolia (L.R.Fraser & Vickery) Menadue. New descriptions are provided for E. rhombifolia and E. microphylla sens. strict.
