Single crystals of UP1.8As0.2, UAsS and UAs 1− xSe1 + x, solid solutions (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.06) were grown by the chemical vapour transport method and their temperature-dependent resistivity and magnetoresistivity, at 4.2 K in fields up to 14 T, have b

Temperature dependence of resistivity for monocrystalline LaSn3, LaPb3, LuGa3, LuIn3 and LaIn3 was analyzed in the temperature range 4.2–300K. A good overall fit of their resistivities to a generalized Bloch—Gruneisen formula was observed in thes

We show that anisotropy of the resistivity in UAsSe proves that its total resistivity contains both an isotropic spin disorder component (controlled by RKKY exchange interaction) and an anisotropic single impurity Kondo-like ( T K = 50 K) component.

There is a great interest in some group of uranium and cerium compounds consisting of increasing number of members subsequently termed as anomalous, intermediate valence, Kondo's lattice, and heavy fermions systems. This group has been extended to sy

We have determined the temperature behaviour of electrical resistivity, thermopower, S, and thermal expansion coefficient, α, for USb2 along both the c and α axes. The Hall effect and the pressure effect on TN up to 0.3 GPa−1 have also been exami

The temperature-dependent (4.2–300 K) resistivities ϱ, thermopowers S and room temperature Hall coefficients R H for ceramic samples of Nd 1.85 Th 0.15 CuO 4-δ have been measured. The samples were non-superconducting for low oxygen deficiency δ

The basal plane Hall effect has been examined for UP 2 and USb 2 from 230 K to 465 K. It was found that the normal Hall coefficients are negative and in a single band approach correspond to a conduction electron densities equal to 1.2 and 0.53 fu -1

Anisotropy of the thermoelectric power, S ( T ), Hall resistivity and magnetoresistivity, MR, of UAsSe single crystals were examined in the temperature range 4.2–300 K and in magnetic field up to 14 T. The following phenomena are considered as the

We have examined the basal-plane resistivity and ac susceptibility between 4.2 and 300 K for selected UAsSe crystals which order ferromagnetically below TC varying from 102 to 109 K. We show that the decrease in the arsenium to selenium content ratio
