Summary. A new endemic species of Olearia, O. dibrachiata (Compositae: Astereae: Hinterhuberinae), from Papua (Indonesia), is described and illustrated. It is compared with the other New Guinean species possessing malpighiaceous ‘T’-shaped hairs.
