We show that conductivity measurements on sandwiches of a polymer between normal-metal and superconducting-metal electrodes can be interpreted in terms of intrinsic superconductivity due to injection of charge into the polymer.

We have observed that thin films of different undoped non-conjugated polymers exhibit high conductivity in metal–polymer–metal (M-P-M) structures. Below the critical temperature, Tc of the superconductivity of the contacts, a supercurrent in supe

Experimental results are discussed which deal with metallic conductivity in partially conjugated and undoped polyamidine thin films placed between metallic electrodes. In the framework of a model, the electrification effect due to metallic electrodes

We have observed that thin films of polyamidine may exhibit high conductivity in some locations on the polymer surface at low electrical field strength. The conductance which has been tested by spreading resistance mode of an atomic force microscope

On the metallic side of the metal-insulator transition (MIT) the theory of quantum corrections to the conductivity provides an accurate description of the temperature dependence of conductivity and magnetoconductivity in a wide variety of disordered

We have observed that amorphous films of polyimide PI (R-Oph2O) and co-polymer exhibit high conductivity in Metal–Polymer–Metal (M–P–M) structures and supercurrents in Superconductor–Polymer–Superconductor (S–P–S) structures if the po

Isotopic mixtures of 70 Ge and 74 Ge (Isotopically Engineered: IE-Ge) were by a neutron-transmutation doping (NTD) process provided with a high compensation of K = N As /N Ga ≅ 0.4, 0.6, 0.9. Variable range hopping (vrh) resistivity at T = 0.1-4.2K

A comparison is reported between the variable-range hopping resistivity (vrh) of chemically (CdTe:Cl, Si:(As), P, B) or neutron transmutation doped (NTD) (GaAs:Ge, Se; Ge : As, Ga) crystals which is: Q(T) = Q 0 exp (T 0 /T) 1/2 with the one-electron
