Yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) at 8 mol.% is the most commonly used electrolyte material in the solid oxide fuel cell field. In this study, co-precipitation and solvothermal methods are used to synthesize nanocrystalline yttria-stabilized zirconia.
