The main result of this thesis is an efficient protocol to determine the frequencies of a signal $C(t)= \sum_k |a_k|^2 e^{i \omega_k t}$, which is given for a finite time, to a high degree of precision. Specifically, we develop a theorem that provide

Since the early 1960s, the fields of signal processing, data transmission, channel equalisation, filter design and others have been technologically developed and modernised as a result of the research carried out by D. Slepian and his co-authors H. J

We develop some properties and the Bonnet formula for Clifford Gegenbauer polynomials. Then after we define and construct weighted Clifford prolate spheroidal wave functions. We then prove that they are orthogonal in a weighted function space.

We implement numerically formulas of [Isaev, Novikov, arXiv:2107.07882] for finding a compactly supported function $v$ on $\mathbb{R}^d$, $d\geq 1$, from its Fourier transform $\mathcal{F} [v]$ given within the ball $B_r$. For the one-dimensional cas

We describe a method for the numerical evaluation of the angular prolate spheroidal wave functions of the first kind of order zero. It is based on the observation that underlies the WKB method, namely that many second order differential equations adm
