Eight metal chalcogenides, Ba4CuGa5Q12 [Q = Se (1a), S (1b), S/Se (1c)], Ba2BiInSe5 (2a), Pb2InGaQ5 [Q = Se (2b), S (2c)], Pb2In2.7Ga0.50S6.50 (3) and Sn10.50In15Ga2S36 (4), have been synthesized by solid state reactions with KBr or CsI flux.
