A novel nitrogen containing 3 H -1, 2, 4-triazole-3-thione-2, 4-dihydro-4-[(2-hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl) methylene]-amino ligand (H 2 L) was synthesized using an equimolar ratio of 4-amino-1, 2, 4-triazole-3-thione and 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzaldehyde.
