The hydrodynamic characterization of the epikarst, the shallow part of the unsaturated zone in karstic systems, has always been challenging for geophysical methods. This work investigates the feasibility of coupling time-lapse refraction seismic data

International audience; The Dead Sea (DS) coastal areas have been dramatically hit by sinkhole occurrences since around 1990. It has been shown that the sinkholes along both Israeli and Jordanian shorelines are linked to evaporate karst cavities that

International audience; In geophysical and hydrological studies, it can be challenging to achieve a complete understanding of infiltration processes in the upper zone of a karstic aquifer since this type of medium is highly heterogeneous and may cont

International audience; Locating groundwater in deep-seated karst aquifers is inherently difficult. With seismic methods, we studied the upper epikarst and the underneath low-permeability volume (LPV) of several karst systems located in the southern

Source generated surface waves are a long-standing issue in land seismic data processing. Indeed they represent one of the main obstacles to the development of time-lapse surveys on land. The present work compares the results of coherent noise filter
