We present on a XPS (X-ray Plasma Source) driven by an ultrafast laser delivering 25 mJ, 1.7 ps at 100 Hz. This source emitted at 17 keV from a 20x33 µm2 spot, particularly adapted to phase contrast imaging for mammography.

We report on a stable 74mJ 1kHz ultrafast Yb laser dedicated for a high-brightness X-ray source based on plasma generation. Preliminary results on the X-ray source are presented using 25mJ and 100Hz.
