We present a fatal case of Yersinia pseudotuberculosis sepsis with global cardiac dysfunction and shock, where the plasma levels of endotoxin, TNF-α and interleukin IL-1-β were undetectable, IL-6 was low and IL-10 was increased 3 h before death.
