We present a genome assembly from an individual Ostrea edulis (the European flat oyster; Mollusca; Bivalvia; Ostreida; Ostreidae). The genome sequence is 894.8 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 10 chromosomal pseudomolecules.
