Bu çalışmada tarladan yeni hasat edilmiş ıspanak (Spinacia oleracea L.) bitkisi havayla ve suyla ön soğutulmuştur. Ön soğutma işlemlerinden önce ürünler 5000 (± 10) gr olacak şekilde tartılarak plastik kasalara yerleştirilmişlerdir
