Endovascular prothetics is a frequent procedure in the case of arterial sclerotic disease of the arterial bed of different disposition. The following factors are necessary for the correct performance of the implant: biological intertness and reendoth

Intravascular stenting of arteries in atherosclerotic lesions is one of the most frequently performed procedures in cardiovascular surgery today. Most stents are made of various stainless-steel alloys and other metals (such as nitinol). Nitinol is a

Melting of a single-phase polycrystalline material is known to start by the formation of liquid films at the surface and at grain boundaries. The internal liquid films are not necessarily quiescent, but can migrate to avoid/reduce supersaturation in

Results of experimental and theoretical investigations of a coherent 2D optical soliton interaction in a SBN crystal is presented. The influence of the distance between solitons with equal intensities along the optical axis is studied. The relative p

In this paper we investigate the self-trapping of a laser beam in a photorefractive SBN-crystal and show that the self-trapping is independently on the input diameter between 18 µm up to 40 µm.
