In the present paper we classify all surfaces in $\E^3$ with a canonical principal direction. Examples of these type of surfaces are constructed. We prove that the only minimal surface with a canonical principal direction in the Euclidean space ${\ma

In this paper we characterize and classify surfaces in ${\mathbb{H}}^2\times{\mathbb{R}}$ which have a canonical principal direction. Here ${\mathbb{H}}^2$ denotes the hyperbolic plane. We study some geometric properties such as minimality and flatne

In this paper we classify certain special ruled surfaces in $\R^3$ under the general theorem of characterization of constant angle surfaces. We study the tangent developable and conical surfaces from the point of view the constant angle property. Mor

In this paper we study the second fundamental form of translation surfaces in E3. We give a non-existence result for polynomial translation surfaces in E3 with vanishing second Gaussian curvature KII. We classify those translation surfaces for which

In this paper we will classify those translation surfaces in E3 involving polynomials which are Weingarten surfaces. We analyze Weingarten translation surfaces satisfying 2aH + bK = 0. We study also other types of translation surfaces, involving powe

In this paper we study constant angle surfaces in Euclidean 3-space. Even that the result is a consequence of some classical results involving the Gauss map (of the surface), we give another approach to classify all surfaces for which the unit normal
