Abstract We present a quantitative study of different molecular iron forms found in the temporal cortex of Alzheimer (AD) patients. Applying the methodology we developed in our previous work, we quantify the concentrations of non-heme Fe(III) by Elec

Most sows convalescent from porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) are immune to the re-infection. The PRRS virus's antibodies detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) can persist for a year. The PRRS virus (PRRSV) causes d

We have studied the transport properties of LaTiO3/SrTiO3 (LTO/STO) heterostructures. In spite of 2D growth observed in reflection high energy electron diffraction, Transmission Electron Microscopy images revealed that the samples tend to amorphize.

The electric-field tunable Rashba spin-orbit coupling at the LaAlO3/SrTiO3 interface shows potential applications in spintronic devices. However, different gate dependence of the coupling strength has been reported in experiments. On the theoretical

In LaAlO3/SrTiO3 heterostructures, a still poorly understood phenomenon is that of electron trapping in back-gating experiments. Here, by combining magnetotransport measurements and self-consistent Schrodinger-Poisson calculations, we obtain an empir
