We demonstrate that [Cd(N(SCNEt2)2)2] is a CdS-containing compound that is well dissolved in a PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate) matrix. The PMMA films possessing up to 10% of these molecules are visually transparent and have no evidence of light scatter
