The flowers of Curcuma pierreana Gagnep., Zingiberaceae, were collected in full bloom in Hue, Vietnam. The essential oil was obtained by hydrodistillation of these flowers. The flower oil was analyzed by a combination of high resolution GC and GC/MS.
