In the study, Fe was used as a dopant to enhance photocatalytic activity of TiO2. Then, the Fe-doped TiO2 was deposited on bentonite, which was pillared by Fe. The synthesized materials were characterized by SEM, XRD, UV-Vis, BET, and point of zero c

Platinum(II) bromide catalyzes the reaction of aniline with n-Bu3N to give N-butylaniline and 2-propyl-3-ethylquinoline. The formation of the quinoline derivative is strongly favored (TON up to 40) by the presence of both n-Bu4PBr and 1-hexene. The s

The reaction of aniline with 1-hexene catalyzed by PtBr2 (0.3%) in the presence of n-Bu4PBr (65 equiv/Pt) at 150 °C affords the expected hydroamination products with a 95% Markovnikov regioselectiv...

The platinum-catalyzed hydroamination of ethylene with aniline is reported for the first time. Using PtBr2 as a catalyst precursor in n-Bu4PBr under 25 bar of ethylene pressure affords N-ethylaniline with 80 turnovers after 10 h at 150 °C. The react
