Background MRSA BSIs have 15-50% mortality and are commonly diagnosed in US hospitals. However, the frequency of hospital transmission of MRSA causing BSI is unknown. Methods We performed Illumina shotgun whole genome sequencing (WGS) of 106 sequenti
