The information content of one-electron bulk and edge states in semiconductor quantum wells is calculated in the inverted regime, where edge states, topologically protected, are responsible for the conduction in Spin Quantum Hall effect experiments.

The entanglement content of superpositions of pairs of degenerate eigenstates of a bipartite system is considered in the case that both eigenstates are also eigenstates of the z component of the total angular momentum. It is shown that the von Neuman
