In this work, polyelectrolyte complexes (PEC) were obtained in form of nanometric polyelectrolyte multilayers (PEMs) and macroscopic hydrogels by electrostatic interactions between two natural polysaccharides: hyaluronic acid (HA) and chitosan (CHI).
