Daphnia with a density of 10,000 ind./l medium were enriched with either 0.1, 0.5 or 1 g l-ascorbic acid ethyl cellulose (VC) per l culture medium. In this triplicate experiment, Daphnia were enriched with VC in a 12 litre aquaria for 0, 3, 6 or 9 h.
