The melt index of low density polyethylene is directly correlated to the “in service” strength. This correlation together with other chemical properties allowed us to select the best material for rotational molding process.

Composite materials were modified in order to increase their wear resistance when in contact with raw-cotton. It is found that the friction pairs increases their efficiency and durability to 2.0-2.2 times.

We studied the properties of wear-resistant HDPE (High Density Poly-Ethylene) composites with different fillers. New methods for sliding bearings was developed instead of rolling bearings in friction equipment, operating under dusty atmosphere.
