Reduced Graphene Oxide (rGO) doped with different nitrogen (N) concentrations (5, 10, and 15 parts in weight) were successfully synthesized via hydrothermal conditions, from graphene oxide (GO) and 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole (amitrole) to obtain N5-rGO,

Graphene oxide (GO) was synthetized, reduced and further sulfonated for the preparation of electrodes. GO was obtained using modified Hummer's method from graphite flakes. The partial reduction of graphene oxide (rGO) was performed by chemical and th

Pd Fe2O3/C and Pd Fe3O4/C electrocatalysts were evaluated for the oxidation of methanol, ethanol, ethylene glycol, glycerol and isopropanol in 1 mol L−1 KOH. The Pd-iron oxides anodes as well as Pd/C were synthesized using NaBH4 and Vulcan XC-72 as

We report the performance of M@Pt (M = Pd, Fe3O4, Ru) core–shell nanostructures for the ORR in H2SO4. The nanomaterials were rapidly synthesized in a total of 120 s applying magnetic (MS), mechanical (UT) and sonochemical (USS) stirring. Pt-alone n

In this work the Pt-Co/OMC as oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) cathode was evaluated under fuel-free and fuel-propanol in acid electrolyte conditions. By RDE measurements the ORR on the alloy seems to proceed via 4 e- transfer mechanism in acid media.

We report the fast synthesis and electrochemical evaluation of M@Pt core–shell nanostructures (M = Ru, Fe 3 O 4 , Pd) as well as Pt-alone nanoparticles for the ethanol and methanol oxidation reactions (EOR and MOR, respectively) in H 2 SO 4 solutio

In this work, novel Pd-(metal oxide)/C electrocatalysts were synthesized and evaluated as anodes for the oxidation of ethanol, methanol, ethylene glycol, glycerol and isopropanol in alkaline electrolyte. The metal oxides proposed to enhance the catal
