The solubility of phenakite in aluminosilicate melts of various alkalinity was studied experimentally at T = 1000°C and P = 1 kbar in dry conditions and in the presence of 10 wt % H2O. The experiments were carried out on a high gas pressure vessel.

The paper reports the results of melting experiments on the fluorite-enriched rhyolites of the Nyalga Basin (Central Mongolia). The fluoride–calcium (F–Ca) melt was obtained in a wide range of P-T parameters (1250–750°С, 5.5–1 kbar). Fluori

A concept of phase and chemical correspondence in the system matrix material–host rock is suggested for methods of storing radioactive wastes in crustal rocks. This principle allows directional synthesis of certain mineral matrixes. Matrix material

Liquid immiscibility was studied in melting experiments in the system trachyrhyolite–water + salt (NaF, Na2CO3) conducted at parameters imitating those of the volcanic process. The indicator components were La, Nb, Sr, W, Mo, Cr, Fe, Rb, and Cs. Th
