A study has been made of the domain-structure dynamics in the basis plane of natural pyrrhotine quartz in cyclic and rotating magnetic fields. Domain structure is present in magnetic fields up to 16,300 Oe.

A moment method was used to find field dependences of the loss due to rotational magnetic hysteresis in a natural pyrrhotine crystal over the temperature range from −170 to +195 °C. The maximum magnetic field reached 30,000 Oe. An empirical equati

The longitudinal and transverse effects (Thomson effect) have been investigated in nickel and cobalt films from 600 to 1500 A thick. The change in electrical resistance in a rotating magnetic field has been studied. Certain singularities of the magne

The field and temperature dependences of the loss due to magnetic-rotation hysteresis have been determined by the rotational-moment method in a (Bi0.32Ca2.68Fe3.66V1.34O12) single crystal. In the temperature range between −183 and +25 °C, the loss

In order to determine regularities in the temperature dependence of the magnetocrystalline anisotropy of nickel-iron ferrites, studies of single-crystal spheres of these ferrites of various compositions were made by the torque method. It was establis

1. The rotational-hysteresis loss in Ni-Ge crystals in the (100) plane increases with increasing field, reaching a maximum at 800–1500 Oe; then it decreases, vanishing between 2000 and 3000 Oe. 2. The maximum loss is greater at lower germanium conc
