We present the first analysis of Cepheid stars observed by the TESS space mission in Sectors 1 to 5. Our sample consists of 25 pulsators: ten fundamental mode, three overtone and two double-mode classical Cepheids, plus three Type II and seven anomal

We present the first asteroseismic results for $\delta$ Scuti and $\gamma$ Doradus stars observed in Sectors 1 and 2 of the TESS mission. We utilise the 2-min cadence TESS data for a sample of 117 stars to classify their behaviour regarding variabili

We present the first results from the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) on the rotational and pulsational variability of magnetic chemically peculiar A-type stars. We analyse TESS 2-min cadence data from sectors 1 and 2 on a sample of 83 s

Recent observations and a photometric search for variable stars in the Ursa Minor dwarf spheroidal galaxy (UMi dSph) are presented. Our observations were taken at Apache Point Observatory in 2014 and 2016 using the 0.5m ARCSAT telescope and the West

The hot $\gamma$~Doradus stars have multiple low frequencies characteristic of $\gamma$~Dor or SPB variables, but are located between the red edge of the SPB and the blue edge of the $\gamma$~Dor instability strips where all low-frequency modes are s

A detailed analysis is presented of 33 RR Lyrae stars in Pisces observed with the Kepler space telescope over the 8.9-day long K2 Two-Wheel Concept Engineering Test. The sample includes not only fundamental-mode and first overtone (RRab and RRc) star

We present the analysis of four first overtone RR Lyrae stars observed with the Kepler space telescope, based on data obtained over nearly 2.5yr. All four stars are found to be multiperiodic. The strongest secondary mode with frequency f_2 has an amp

The candidate SX Phe star KIC 11754974 shows a remarkably high number of combination frequencies in the Fourier amplitude spectrum: 123 of the 166 frequencies in our multi-frequency fit are linear combinations of independent modes. Predictable patter

We analyzed the Long Cadence photometry of 4 first overtone RR Lyr-type stars (RRc stars) observed by the KEPLER telescope. All studied variables are multiperiodic. The strongest secondary peak appears for f_2/f_1 = 1.58-1.63, or P_2/P_1 = 0.61-0.63.
