Abstract After publication of the article [1], it has been brought to our attention that two of the labels on Figure 4 have transposed. The labels “S-type SSU rRNA” and “A-type SSU rRNA” should be in opposite places.

Extracranial schwannomas in the head and neck region are rare neoplasms. The tumours often present as asymptomatic, slowly enlarging lateral neck masses and determination of the nerve origin is not often made until the time of surgery. Preoperative d
