Significance Primary effusion lymphoma (PEL) is a highly aggressive B cell lymphoma. PELs are associated with Kaposi’s sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV), and most of them are coinfected with Epstein–Barr virus (EBV). Human B cells have not pr
