The analytical expressions for the multipole longitudinal and transverse impedances of two-layer laminated vacuum chamber are obtained in ultrarelativistic limit. A number of special cases are derived that coincide with the well-known solutions. A nu

The paper demonstrates the geometric optic properties of the transition radiation (TR) of an ultrarelativistic point-like charged particle crossing the transverse wall of a circular semi-infinite waveguide with ideally conducting walls. It is shown t

The dependence of the resonant properties of a metal-dielectric waveguide on its geometrical and electromagnetic parameters is investigated. Their fundamental difference in the case of a thin and thick internal dielectric coating is demonstrated.
