An Ag/Cr/MnO2 catalyst was prepared via a simple hydrothermal–calcination method. Compared with the Cr/MnO2 catalyst, the comprehensive performance of the Ag/Cr/MnO2 catalyst was greatly improved, which has potential for industrial applications.
