Implementation of a Fuzzy Logic speed controller for a Permanent Magnet DC (PMDC) motor using a low-cost Arduino interfaced with a standard xPC Target MATLAB environment is demonstrated. The Arduino solution is acceptable at kHz sampling frequencies.
