Abstract Background Acute respiratory failure (ARF) is the leading cause of ICU admission. Viruses are increasingly recognized as a cause of pneumonia in immunocompromised patients, but epidemiologic data are scarce. We used the Groupe de Recherche e

We demonstrate monolithically integrated lithium niobate modulators consisting of sub-wavelength waveguides and velocity-matched RF transmission lines. We measure an RF V π as low as 2.3 V and an electro-optic bandwidth up to 100 GHz.

We demonstrate integrated lithium niobate electro-optic modulators with up to 100-GHz electro-optic bandwidth and V π as low as 1.4 V. We show 70 GBaud and 100 GBaud m-ASK modulation with the fabricated modulator.

Debris-covered glaciers respond to atmospheric conditions in different ways from debris-free glaciers, due to the presence of debris at the surface during the ablation season and at the snow/ice interface during the accumulation season. Understanding
