We develop a tractable macroeconomic model that captures dynamic behaviors across multiple timescales, including business cycles. The model is anchored in a dynamic capital demand framework reflecting an interactions-based process whereby firms deter

Computed tomography (CT) has been an essential diagnostic tool during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study aimed to develop an optimal CT protocol in terms of safety and reliability. For this, we assessed the inter-observer agreement between CT and low-d
This paper suggests that business cycles may be a manifestation of coupled real economy and stock market dynamics and describes a mechanism that can generate economic fluctuations consistent with observed business cycles. To this end, we seek to inco

We discuss analysis of the PS scatterers located in Moscow city using long-term series of PALSAR images. 29 PALSAR observations made from ALOS satellite repeated orbits in 2006–2010 were used in our analysis. One of important features of the data s
In this paper we seek to demonstrate the predictability of stock market returns and explain the nature of this return predictability. To this end, we introduce investors with different investment horizons into the news-driven, analytic, agent-based m

We attempt to explain stock market dynamics in terms of the interaction among three variables: market price, investor opinion and information flow. We propose a framework for such interaction and apply it to build a model of stock market dynamics whi

The problem of secondary-ion formation is investigated theoretically and experimentally. The effect of local electronic temperature on the collisional cascade region in the secondary-ion energy spectrum is examined. It is shown that the shift of the
