We search for and characterize substructures in the projected distribution of galaxies observed in the wide field CCD images of the 77 nearby clusters of the WIde-field Nearby Galaxy-cluster Survey (WINGS). This sample is complete in X-ray flux in th

We measure the distribution of velocity dispersions of groups of galaxies identified in the UZC catalog; we use the distribution to derive the group mass function. We introduce a new method which makes efficient use of the entire magnitude limited ca

We present an objective and automated procedure for detecting clusters of galaxies in imaging galaxy surveys. Our Voronoi Galaxy Cluster Finder (VGCF) uses galaxy positions and magnitudes to find clusters and determine their main features: size, rich

We report redshifts, magnitudes and morphological classifications for 5369 galaxies with $m_B \leq 15.5$ and 57 galaxies fainter than this limit, in two regions covering a total of 1.70 steradians in the southern celestial hemisphere. The galaxy cata

We use the ROSAT All Sky Survey to compute X-ray luminosities for an optically selected sample of 32 galaxy groups. The groups were identified by an objective algorithm as three-dimensional density enhancements in the magnitude-limited Center for Ast
