Regenerative-spectral-and-pulse shaping of chirped-pulse thin-rod Yb:YAG amplifier has yielded an average-output-power of 18 W at 100-kHz PRF with an output-pulse-width of below 1.2 ps. An amplifiied bandwidth of 2.5 nm was also observed.

A LD-pumped, thin-rod Yb:YAG regenerative chirped pulse amplifier was developed. An average output power of 20 W was obtained at a repetition rate of 100 kHz with an output pulse width of 2 ps.
