Mercury and methylmercury concentrations were evaluated in two marine fish species captured and consumed in Mexico, snapper (Lutjanus sp.) and mackerel (Scomberomorus sp.), obtained from several fish ports on the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico.
