In previous studies we have shown that in mice bearing head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) xenografts, radioimmunotherapy (RIT) with186Re-labeled MAb E48 resulted in complete regressions in one-third of the tumors (followup >150 d). MAb E48

Monoclonal antibody (MAb) E48 recognizes a 20- to 22-kDa antigen expressed by human squamous and transitional epithelia and their neoplastic counterparts. Histochemical examination of these tissues revealed distinct surface labeling with MAb E48 [1].

Human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) is a widely spread herpesvirus, suggested to play a role in tumor progression. US28, a chemokine receptor encoded by HCMV, binds a broad spectrum of chemokines and constitutively activates various pathways linked to proli
