The complex [Rh(COD)(μ-OMe)]2 in presence of TPPTS (TPPTS = triphenylphosphinetrisulfonate) was evaluated as catalyst precursor for the in situ hydroformylation of natural olefins (eugenol, estragole and safrole) in biphasic media BMIm-BF4/toluene.
