The Sea Is Your Mirror is an artistic interactive experience where surface cerebral electromagnetic waves from a participant wearing an EEG sensor headset are depicted in real-time as ocean waves in an animated 3D environment. The aim of this article

We are interested here in the perceptive behaviors of autonomous virtual actors. These behaviors must determine their answers, not only according to the external stimuli, but also according to internal emotions. We propose to describe such emotional

International audience; [1] The feedback between plate tectonics and mantle convection controls the Earth's thermal evolution via the seafloor age distribution. We therefore designed the MACMA model to simulate time-dependent plate tectonics in a 2D

This work is a significant part of the MODENA project, aiming at modeling and simulating the maritime environment remotely sensed by a radar [1].The main steps of the project go through a modeling of the ocean surface, the man-made objects on the sur

This paper describes a methodology to model and simulate the reflectivity measured by radar observing a maritime environment. The simulation principle consists of reproducing the acquisition of a Real Aperture Radar (RAR) moving along its axis. Pulse

This paper describes IPAS [13] (Interactive Phenomenological Animation of the Sea), a method for numerical interactive phenomenological animation of the sea, and it aims to validate this method by confrontation with field data. As IPAS is a phenomeno
