The aim of this study was to assess the feasibility of using a high speed x-ray system (capable of 1000 frames/sec) to evaluate the bony kinematics of post mortem human surrogate (PMHS) cervical spines at real world speeds during frontal impact. Whol

It was shown that 3-vinylbenzenethiol (1) and 4-vinyl-benzenethiol (2) polymerize, slowly, in the dark. However, the polymerizations can be accelerated by U.V.-light. The progress of the polymerization were followed by1H NMR spectroscopy.

A new azo monomer (2) was synthesized and copolymerized with styrene. The resulting azo copolymer could be used as an initiator for the acrylonitrile polymerisation yielding grafted copolymers. Quantitative treatment of the grafting experiments leads
