Zn-MOF and Co-MOF have 3D pillared-layer structure based on pinwheel trinuclear metal-carboxylate clusters. Zn-MOF is efficient catalyst for Knoevenagel condensation reaction while Co-MOF have shown magnetic properties due to the trimeric Co(ii).
