Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) merupakan salah satu limbah minyak kelapa sawit yang harus diolah karena dapat berakibat buruk terhadap lingkungan. POME memiliki kandungan gas rumah kaca yang cukup tinggi, yang berkontribusi terhadap pemanasan global.
