The (He-3, t) charge-exchange reaction has been studied at theta = 0-degree-C and bombarding energies of E(He-3) = 76.5 MeV and 200 MeV. Spectra were measured using magnetic analysis for target nuclei of C-12, C-13, O-16, F-19, Si-28, Si-29, Si-30, Z

Differential cross sections from the Mg-24(He-3,t)Al-24 reaction have been measured from 0 to 32-degrees in the laboratory system. DWBA calculations using an effective projectile-nucleon interaction are compared with the data to verify the applicabil

Spin-flip probabilities and the differential cross sections for the 26Mg(3He,t)26Al*(1+;1.058 MeV) reaction have been measured at E3He=177 MeV. This is the first spin-flip probability data for the (3He,t) reaction in the energy region above 20 MeV/A.

Changes in natural radiation level on selected sites on beaches of the island of Texel, The Netherlands, were measured simultaneously with changes in beach elevation. It was found that radiometric mapping provides a sensitive method for studying sand

The 208 Pb(p, n) 208 Bi reaction has been studied at E p =120 and 160 MeV . The GT resonance is found to be concentrated in disagreement with a recent theoretical suggestion that it is highly fragmented in heavy nuclei, but in good agreement with an

Energy systematics of the giant Gamow-Teller resonance and a charge-exchange resonance excited by a L = 1, S = 1 interaction are presented. Plots of the energy separation between each resonance and the IAS versus (N − Z) A can be represented approx

The resonance in 28Si formed in the 12C+16O system at Ec.m. = 19.7 MeV is well known and has been assigned a Jπ value of 14+. We propose that the variation in energy reported for this resonance in a number of exit channels is due to different relati
